Our monthly musical partnership with WUSF Radio’s All Night Jazz continues this Friday with another hour of jazz recorded live at the Side Door. WUSF calls the show: Side Door at the Palladium.

It’s part of a series of live shows recorded at venues around the country. WUSF Jazz Director Mike Cornette came up with the idea after the pandemic shut down jazz venues like the Side Door.

Nate Najar, Alejandro Arenas and Eddie Metz

This Friday the Nate Najar Trio performs From Europe with Love. The show featuring Nate Najar on guitar, Eddie Metz on drums and Alejandro Arenas on bass. The concert was recorded at the The Palladium at St. Petersburg College in May of 2014, shortly after Najar had returned from a successful European tour.

Side Door at the Palladium  airs the first Friday of the month as a special edition of WUSF’s Jazz Trip@Ten.

Najar’s annual December show, Nate Najar’s Jazz Holiday, will be streaming live from the Palladium on Friday, Dec. 18 and will be available to stream in your home for 48 hour. For tickets and more information on that streaming show you can follow this link.
