Beat summer heat, with this piano festival in the coolness of Hough Hall Sunday afternoon

I’m very happy that the Palladium is one of the venues chosen for the Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival. The Piano Ambassadors cxoncert, featuring two stellar young artists, happens Sunday at 2 p.m. I can’t think of a better way to spend a steaming hot July afternoon than in the cool comfort of Hough Hall listening to some great music.

You can follow this link for tickets or call our box office at 727-822-3590. Tickets will also be available at the door, but I encourage you to buy in advance.

Drawing from a world-wide pool of applicants, the festival hosts 38 young pianists who work with a 19-member faculty of some of classical music’s finest pianists and teachers.

Two of the top student performers will be on the Palladium stage this Sunday. The students are competing for a chance to play our Steinway and we don’t have the winner’s names just yet.
