Jeewon Park joins the award-winning Calidore Quartet for final Chamber concert Tuesday

Our Chamber Music season concludes Tuesday, April 12, with a concert featuring one of the hottest young chamber ensembles – the Calidore String Quartet. To add to the musical mix, they will be joined by our Palladium Chamber Players pianist, Jeewon Park. It is a must-see show!

This young group has already won more awards and prizes than lots of more experienced quartets. And they added another top honor – Calidore is a winner of the 2016 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship and is the first North American ensemble to win the £20,000 award in the foundation’s history! Tuesday concert features Jeewon and Calidore performing Brahms’ Piano Quintet in f minor. Calidore will also be performing F. Mendelssohn’s String Quartet op. 44 no. 1 in D major and selections from J. S. Bach’s Art of the Fugue.

And keeping with our support of the best local artists, Calidore features Ryan Meehan, who grew up and had his early training in St. Petersburg. His parents will be in the audience Tuesday night. For tickets and more program information follow this link or call our box office at 727 822-3590.
